AJD Studio is a New York-based creative and strategic partner for the design industry, working alongside interior design, architecture, and development firms across design execution, brand and communications, and strategic advisory.
Founded in 2021, AJD Studio began with a simple need. Design firms needed flexible support, but they also needed someone they could trust to understand their standards, take ownership of the details, and deliver work at the level their projects required.
What started with CAD drawings quickly became something more.

As projects grew, so did AJD Studio's role. Drafting expanded into design development, specifications, quantity reviews, purchasing support, presentations, and project coordination. Clients began bringing AJD Studio into conversations earlier, using the studio as a resource to work through ideas, identify inconsistencies, anticipate challenges, and connect information across increasingly complex projects.
That evolution shaped a philosophy that still guides the studio today: the greatest value often comes from understanding not only the task at hand, but the larger project around it.

AJD Studio's perspective has been shaped by experience across the broader design and development industry.
Founder Audra Jones served as Head of Product for a luxury cabinetry and millwork company, building expertise in product development, custom fabrication, project management, international logistics, and sourcing factories specializing in custom goods for interiors.
Her experience later expanded into commercial real estate development, with responsibility spanning both design and marketing. Working across the creative, operational, and business sides of the built environment provided a broader understanding of how design gets developed, communicated, purchased, built, marketed, and ultimately experienced.
Today, that range of experience informs how AJD Studio approaches every engagement.
